Our team will be at your property from the start of our partnership, and we all work personally with the on-site managers daily. With our executive team's broad and exceptional experience base, we’re able to evaluate and direct significant improvements at each new property.

Foresight Golf, LLC was founded in 1998 by Dan Pedrotti, Jr. and Ed Miller with the vision to build, own and operate golf courses in which the quality of the golf experience we provide greatly exceeds the expectations of the recreational dollars invested by our customers! We wanted to build and operate courses that are good for the game and good for the business of golf. Foresight Golf has been involved in the construction, renovation, ownership and operation of ten golf courses in South Texas and one in Hannastown, PA, since our beginning in 1998. In 2008, as a result of creating a great organization and management systems that have enabled our properties to compete very favorably in the central Texas golf markets, we recognized an excellent opportunity to serve other owners of golf courses and subsequently offered our expertise and services to private companies and municipalities. Although far from being the largest management company, our company is at a stage that we offer a complete package of management expertise, a passion to create raving fans of our new clients and what we believe to be a remarkable value for the quality of service that our clients receive.

Daniel Pedrotti, Jr. - President, Partner
As President and one of the founding partners of Foresight Golf, Dan concentrates his efforts on the vision and growth of the company. Dan is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has a Master’s of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A real estate developer for over 30 years, he was a general partner in the Bandit Golf Club and residential community in New Braunfels, Texas. Prior to that, he was a partner in Carefree Partners, a residential real estate development company in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was instrumental in the development and construction of over 10,000 residential lots. Dan’s core business values and ability to be effective in the many arenas of the business community are key to the success of Foresight’s relationships with clientele and partners. Dan has demonstrated the ability to raise significant capital to fund company growth efforts and to develop partnerships that meet the needs of investors and clients. Currently, Dan is spearheading a revolutionary development project on the Southside of San Antonio - The Valor Club.
The Valor Club project includes constructing a fully-adapted golf course and community to serve retired and disabled American Veterans. The Mission is to build, operate, and sustain an extraordinary community which is a place of healing for veterans young & old. The Valor Club will provide our veterans and their families a safe, accessible, and affordable environment, quickly becoming America's preeminent place to Live, to Play, and to Thrive.
Edward Miller - Chief Operating Servant, Partner
Ed has over 30 years of golf course management experience including oversight of golf operations at several of the finest golf resorts and private country clubs in the country. Highlights of Ed’s career and experience prior to founding Foresight Golf, include serving as Director of Golf Operations for the Pebble Beach Company where he prepared Pebble Beach Golf Links to host the United States Open Championship in 1992, assisting in the preparation and hosting of the 1985 PGA Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club in Inglewood, CO and as Vice President of Golf Operations for Grand Bay Hotels and Resorts, where he oversaw golf operations for The Boulders Resort in Carefree, AZ, Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club in Tucson, AZ and Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel Valley, CA. Ed has designed and performed several major golf course renovations and has been the in–house general contractor and project manager for construction of The Buckhorn Golf Course in Comfort, TX and The Republic Golf Club in San Antonio, TX. Ed received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and was a graduate of the Turfgrass Management Program at The Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with Highest Distinction. Ed brings this extensive experience to all of the properties that Foresight Golf has the privilege to work with and takes pride in supporting our clients, managers and golf course superintendents at each property.
Michael Weiland - Vice President of Operations
Michael is the immediate supervisor and support for each of Foresight Golf’s General Managers and Head Golf Professionals. He has a passion for the business of golf and a keen sense of effective leadership and customer service. Over the past 20 years he has held several management roles in the golf industry including the positions of General Manager, Regional Sales & Marketing Director, and Food & Beverage Director in different golf markets across the United States including San Antonio, Houston, Corpus Christi, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and St. Louis. As Vice President of Operations he is currently responsible for supporting the efforts of training, and evaluating all of Foresight Golf’s senior managers for Foresight Golf’s third party managed, leased, and owned facilities. He has played an integral role in identifying and developing Foresight Golf’s standards for best operational and management practices and has helped author the company’s standard operating procedures manual. Michael also has extensive sales and marketing experience and worked with Kemper Sports Management as their Regional Sales & Marketing Director in early and mid-2000s, supporting and directing sales and marketing efforts for four of Kemper Sports’ third party managed golf properties located in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Missouri with emphasis in Management & Organizational Behavior and Marketing.
Cindy Maulsby - Vice President of Finance and Accounting
Cindy brings over 25 years of financial accounting and management experience to Foresight along with a passion for the game of golf. Her responsibilities include all aspects of accounting including payroll, accounts payable, cash management and the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for the company. Prior to joining Foresight, Cindy held a variety of senior accounting leadership roles in several large companies encompassing controllership, SEC reporting and general financial management responsibilities. Cindy started her career as a CPA and manager for the largest international public accounting firm at that time with experiences in a variety of industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, services and nonprofit. Cindy graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Accounting degree from Texas A&M University and was the top graduate while earning her MBA from the University of California, Irvine. Cindy is an avid golfer who carries a single-digit handicap.
Joshua Cates - Director of Marketing
Josh brings over 20 years of digital and direct-to-consumer marketing experience to Foresight Golf. With his background spanning cinematography, publishing, digital strategy, photography, website development, brand identity, content creation and how this all impacts a company's growth, Josh is responsible for the digital and visual voice of the Foresight Golf brand and courses. Developing, managing and directing all aspects of the marketing process for the Foresight Golf portfolio is a critical part of growing customer reach. Prior to joining Foresight Golf, Josh's career included spearheading the concept, development, growth, marketing and eventual acquisition of three multi-million dollar companies. Josh played golf through high-school and still has a deep love for the game and what it stands for. Josh is a graduate of the Serac Adventure Films School, studied Business at the University of North Texas and loves that his role means one of constant learning and pivoting of strategies, which he says "keeps it fresh."
Lacy Taylor - Director of Retail
Lacy has been leading Foresight Golf’s retail management efforts since 2009. Lacy holds a Master’s of Science Degree from Eastern Illinois University in Sports Administration and has years of retail and management experience. Prior to her assignment within Foresight Golf, Lacy worked in sales and for the Colorado Rockies and San Antonio Spurs organizations. She works closely with and supports each Foresight Golf Senior Manager to evaluate preferences of customer base and then utilizes our national retail accounts to get favorable pricing and terms for hard and soft goods. On an ongoing basis, Lacy also provides sales training to all of Foresight Golf’s golf shop personnel and assists with inventory analysis and adjustment. All of these efforts lead to better sales, lower cost of goods sold, and maximum profitability in retail.
